GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

Emmy and Tony Award winner and Oklahoma Hall of Fame inductee Kristin Chenoweth is forming a new charity partnership with the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center Foundation in her home town of Oklahoma.

"I am so excited to work more closely with the theater in my hometown that bears my name. Maddie’s Corner was a huge inspiration for me to continue to learn about how to make my mark in the world. I am looking forward to this new partnership and the future of BA PAC!”

The mission of the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center Foundation is to bring the world of visual and performing arts to Broken Arrow. Through its programs and initiatives, the Foundation remains dedicated to providing artistic and educational opportunities, offering entertainment and artistic enrichment to the Broken Arrow Community and serving as a vital partner in the cultural and economic vitality of our region. Some current and future initiatives include; The Spotlight Series (bringing internationally acclaimed concert artists and Broadway productions), educational outreach and master classes with touring artists, after-school and summer arts institutes, scholarship programs, community enrichment and creating opportunities for students to travel and perform on a national level.

Chenoweth was most recently involved with Maddie’s Corner, a charity she launched and helped to grow. While she is proud of her work with Maddie’s Corner, Chenoweth has decided to focus her efforts on the BA PAC.

A passionate advocate for animals, Chenoweth will continue to support the many wonderful animal organizations that exist. Chenoweth is an avid supporter of charities helping those in need and will continue to help the many organizations she is involved with such as The Red Cross, Broadway Cares EFA, The Point Foundation, ASTEP, breast cancer awareness and adoption advocacy.

One of Kristin's first events was the inaugural Master Classin March of 2014, in which she played mentor to 10 local high school and college students, coaching them through performances and offering words of encouragement. You can view an OETA summation of the evening HERE.
